I was asked by the gal who manages our local scrapbook kit club to teach a 2-hour class on pocket scrapbooking & Project Life during their semi-annual Scrap Camp. I have a general idea of what I want to cover, but I'm not sure how to go about doing a project.

Has anybody been to a class like this before? What did you make?

Oooo I want to come! :)
Maybe just break it down into segments... Like 1)what is it? 2)How to get organized...3)the weekly/monthly/themed approach
Maybe if they are starting an album, doing the "title page" ?
You got this!

When is it - maybe they could do a year in review album using pocket pages?

Or just have them pick a topic that they have many photos of and doing a mini album on that topic.

I would stress that Project Life can be anything that want it to be - an album to document their year or an easy way to document a trip, wedding, baby's first year or any topic where you have many many photos.

Carol - come on down to Billings - it's on Saturday, Nov. 4th. They have a whole weekend of activities. PM me your e-mail address and I can send you the info. It's a great way to support our one and only local scrap business. Plus - Becky Fleck (of PageMaps fame) lives in Columbus & she shows up once in a while!

I don't pocket scrap but I have remembered the tips about using glue dots on the outside of pages from Noell's and the tips people have posted to keep cards in their pockets so they don't fall out.

I teach a class at my LSS twice a month.  I make a layout that uses a lot of traditional scrapbooking techniques and then teach it.  My website has quite a few of my last classes if you want to see what I mean www.christinecid.com.au
