background designs, embellishments for 'white space', embellishments for clusters, letters for titles or journaling. Have to make myself remember to use them because I have so much invested in them!
What's The Most Common Way You Use Stamping In Your Scrapbooking?

I use them most often within/as part of embellishment clusters -- I like to use small stamps for that, like hearts, arrows, small flowers, swirls. One of my favorite ways I've used them (I need to do this again soon!) is that I stamped with a flower stamp through a 12x12 stencil that had a design of open circles (probably about 1-1.5" in size), essentially creating custom background paper. ~ Laura

I was always forgetting to use my stamps but have recently started using them. I use it mainly for backgrounds, do some fancy cutting for pop up and stamp on photos. I actually like using my stamps
on my lo's now. I've been so busy making cards I've got to get back to my LO's.

I love english but my family doesn't understand it and really don't like when I use english words, so I also stick with french. Not easy when you see these beautiful Ali Edwards stamps!!
About stamping: the recent trend of pocket cards is a nice way to use stamping on a layout, because you can experiment your stamping on this smaller size and use it only uf you like it. Plus, there are so many pretty pockets cards that are easy to copy with your stamps!
I used stamps on most of these cards.
But I also have a hard time to use stamps on my layouts. I noticed that I used them more when I make my embellishments ahead, because then I do use my stamps to make DIY embellishments! Like the pocket cards.
Love these cards!

I've discovered that if I pre-stamp phrases or shapes on to white cardstock and fussy cut them out, making my own embellishments, I'm much more likely to use them. I have a bunch stamped out and ready to go. It's also easier to judge if I'll like a stamp in a certain area. Most of the time I just glue them down but there are times I use them as a guide and will break out my stamps and stamp directly on to my paper.

Killing some time on a boring job today . . . so cruising the old threads I stamp on layouts. Sometimes it is the background, other times a sentiment and a coordinating card stock color that is fussy cut OR directly on the photo like on this layout. http://snippetscraft...salt-flats.html I used StazOn ink and stamped on positioner acrylic plates and figured out where I wanted the images. Other times I stamp on an embellishment to jazz it up like on this layout. http://snippetscraft...e-lucky-13.html#

I love stamping embellishments or patterned paper. When I'm putting together a kit for a layout, I add stamps to use. If I have them out, I use them a lot more : ).
