ribbons, flowers, brad, buttons or someother kind of emblishments?

I go through stages. There for the longest time I used flowers on just about every card. Now I find myself reaching for the ribbon.

Some vintage off white crochet thread I got at a thrift store for a buck. I have been using it for years but lately it has gotten wrapped around every single card I've made. I am finally starting to run out.

Here is the link:

Hand-Dyed Seam Binding

I generally color 1 yd. for each individual project. I make it as I need it because I like it to match.

And here is a video on how I tie it:

Tying Crinkle Ribbon

Hope that helps. ;)

For awhile it was flowers and then it was ribbon and then it was stickles and rhinestones...lately it's sayings/quotes/poems that I type up on computer and print in color ink to coordinate with card colors.

Lately, sequins or enamel dots and I typically stamp the sentiment. I also typically use patterned paper.

Ink and stencils :) Yup, looked at my blog to verify... and in 9 of the last 10 cards, I made my own background paper. http://clickychickcr...category/cards/ (some have videos, too!)

My stamps, of course, but lately I have been working with die cut images from my silhouette and using vellum and spectrum noir markers with bling.....ribbon is also an essential.

diecuts are the main focal point of my cards, ribbon, punched flowers and usually some rhinestones.

Always patterned paper, usually washi tape, usually a stamped sentiment, and I always ink my edges!
