Haha, well I suppose one example of misbehaving might be overly rude behavior and excessive surliness. Hoping everyone stays friendly and helpful. :)

It's good to know my moderate surliness will be tolerated.   :P

Just kidding, y'all -- I'll keep my sarcasm in check.  I'm so nice it hurts!

Thanks Izzy! just a quick note/request. I wonder if we could have a board or two for NSBR (non-scrapbook related) topics like we had at 2peas. It was a very vibrant part of the forums, and it would be nice to have something like it here as well, if that's doable/agreeable! please :)

my note: i'm on firefox right now, and when i hit "reply", the site lags a bit. not sure if it's the server/site, whatever. i'm on a mbp.

Thanks so much to you and Noelle for your lightening fast response to our dilemma!  :)

Can I add a tip? Instead of viewing each forum separately, just click "View New Content" at the top right of the screen. All new posts will show up. Read a thread that interests you then hit that button again to see the remaining new threads to read. If you don't read them all but are finished, then click "Mark Community Read" on the very bottom left of the screen. Works beautifully and you don't miss a thing! :)

I noticed that when adding an avatar, portrait photos are turned on their side and can't be rotated. Any tips?

@IAmMikki - Not sure if there's a way to fix that in the forum itself. You might need to crop the photo before uploading it.

Thanks for letting me know!

How do you determine who is a newbie vs. member vs. advanced member?  Just curious.  Thanks.

"excessive surliness"  - oh I've got to use that in a sentence today - that one made me chuckle.

Hi Izzy,

The "view new content" option suddenly stopped working for me. Any solutions?

Thanks!

I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working for you. It's working for me just fine. Maybe a browser issue?

It's easy to accidentally change your options for what to view.

When you click on VIEW NEW CONTENT there are three areas in the far left column.

- make sure you've selected a TIME PERIOD in the 2nd area -- that can get unselected and you can be looking at nothing

- make sure you haven't accidentally ticked off anything in the third area labeled OTHER -- that'll turn off a whole bunch of new stuff if it doesn't meet the criteria you've checked.

Thanks Debbie. I highlighted "since my last visit". I'll come back later to see if that helps. Seems like I didn't have any option highlighted. ☺️

I can't seem to figure out how to delete a topic (not an individual post, but the entire topic - it has no comments) I've posted.  Have looked and google for about 20 mins, but can't find it.  Can someone help out?

Only moderators and admins can remove topics. Which one are you wanting removed?

Thanks Izzy.

It's up to you.  I posted about a question on trying to open a free .Studio file in Sure Cuts a Lot.  I figured out how to do it (finally!).  So, I thought about posting the response, but then I wondered if it was cool to talk about it?  I don't want anyone to get upset. It seemed like a logical thing to try to do, but then I thought, someone might see it as wrong, since I don't have a Silhouette?  It's your call.  Feel free to take it down.  If not, I'll post how I was able to do it.

Thanks for all you do.

Go ahead and post your response... We'll leave it up because somebody else in the future might have the same question. :)
