Thank you so much, Wendy! I think I will be sticking with my CS4 for now.

Tiff, I don't think there's a lot of super specific feature lists! I should have one on my site :)

Mostly you should be able to google linear burn shadows in PSE or similar and you'll find out if you can do it :)

Wendy, There's also a layer mask button on the layers panel :) much easier to get to. We've had them in PSE9

There's a new version of PSE each September (ish) so I'd watch for that!

Good to know Melissa! I couldn't find that layer mask button, but I admit I do get turned around when I'm in PSE!

I wish PSE had spell check, and that I could thread text boxes.

Hi Blu pixy - what do you mean by thread text boxes.

I know Adobe has been asked for spell check for sure!

Threaded text boxes are when you have two separate text boxes and the overflow of words from one box picks up in another. For example in the

Project Life template, you could "thread" two journaling cards together. So when one fills up it finishes up in another.  When googling this to see if PSE14 could do this, found you can in regular PS.

That's a very new feature to CC. I want to say within the last year. It used to be only page layout programs, like InDesign, could do that.
