I know we don't usually post for items we are looking for, but I am desperate.  I am not a big stamper so I have very few stamps.  I am currently getting flower making instructions from a wonderful woman who makes wonderful flowers, on the most recent flower she said I needed to get a flower center punch.  The one she used was from a Stampin Up set from 2005.  It is small and the pattern when stamped looks like small stamens radiating from the center that go up the petals.  Similar to what I have seen on hydrangia stamps.  I am wondering if any one knows where I could find something similar to this.  I have scoured the online stores until my eyes hurt and I can not seem to just randomly run across a design that fits this.   Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank  you

Maribeth

That doesn't ring a bell to me, but maybe somebody who's been heavily into SU for a long time will be able to help. Good luck!

I will post a photo of what it looks like after it is stamped, I don't have the stamp, the lady I am learning to make flowers from has it and she lives about 70 miles away.  I will try to post that when I get home from work.

And I don't need the exact stamp just something similar.

Thank you

MiaScraps, I am sure I could, but 1 I don't have a whole lot of time to craft so I think that would take a long time, and 2 I really am not that talented so I need all the help I can get.

I will check my supplies when I next get a chance. Perhaps on Saturday. I seem to think I have something like that.

that would be great MiaScaps.  I didn't think it would be this difficult to find something similar.

Stampin up currently sells a stamp set called "Build a Bouquet" that contains this kind of stamp in two different sizes, however with a more modern / sketchy design, but may be you like it; since their web site gives me an arrow mesage, I can't include a link.

The stamen I have is a paper punch and would maybe not look right for your project. I would follow ghp's suggestion and look through the flower stamps at Stamping Up. Also, you might want to look at other flower stamps and think outside the box. Is there anything else you could use that might work for your flower?

Have you considered carving your own stamp? It's really easy and a beginner kit isn't very expensive. I will warn you that stamp carving it addictive. However, it's been a big money saver for me when I can't find the exact stamp I want.

You can carve on fun foam too! Use a pen to "carve" the image. I made several flowers this way. So easy.
